The Perspective

A girl who was walking on the road
Saw a homeless sitting beside where it had snowed
“oh! Where do you live? Where’s your home?”
Is what she asked, her eyes innocent and blue,
Her gentle face, and eyes clear as dew
“this road is my home where I walk, I roam”
The homeless replied gruffly,
“oh wow! So big! Mine’s only a bangalow” said she.

On the next road she met a beggar,
Curious, she asked him “sir,
Aren’t you afraid of losing money or theft?”
To which he replied, “I don’t have any left”
“I earn by begging and spend all on food
I sleep with door of my hut open, in a peaceful mood
“oh!” she said, “people are busy to earn,
They forget about the dreams for which they yearn”

The world can be glum, it can be bright
It depends on the eyes light
Things can be good if you make them jolly
It doesn’t depend always on the world, now realize your folly
Try to make everyday good, better, best
The way you look at it, so never let it rest
