In today’s world, one of the everyday tragedies among various people is DEPRESSION; actually, it is not only the depression but ‘THE BLOCKAGE OF DEPRESSION’. The question is, why is it a BLOCKAGE? Why I used the word BLOCKAGE here? It blocks our peace of mind, happiness, hopes, trust, and one becomes mentally unstable.

Nowadays ‘SEPARATION’ has become the root cause of ‘DEPRESSION’. Before we move further, it’s vital to understand what SEPARATION is? When one feels SEPARATION? and how to deal with it?

When the word comes SEPARATION, a common thought arises in everyone’s mind: break-up from the relationship and boy-girl have separated. One may feel separation from their dreams, job, career, friends, parents, and soulmates. The term SEPARATION is not only about the break-up; it is beyond that.

When one loses their passion for dreams, job, career, true friends, caring parents, and loving soulmates, they feel isolated. And when such things impact their mind and heart profoundly, they come into depression.

Now the point comes here, is there any way to deal with it or get rid of it? The answer is yes this article will provide you some tips on how to know when someone is in depression and what are the ways to kill this blockage?

SIGNS OF DEPRESSION

HOPELESS OUTLOOK

This is the most common feeling of depression. It acts like one feels hopeless or helpless in their life. And one keeps thinking and feeling self-hate, too much guilt, “all is my fault,” “is this a life”?

LOST INTEREST

Depression can dislodge your passion, pleasure, or joy from the things you once love to do. For example, one may feel a loss of interest in sports, hobbies, going out, spending time with someone, etc.

ANXIETY

In depression, one may feel nervous, tense, feeling of danger, panic also arises. It may increase your heart rate and breathe. one may also feel unfocused and uncleared in many matters.

CHANGES IN WEIGHT

Weight changes may differ with each person. one may feel too much hungry and keep eating and gain weight. In contrast, others won’t like to eat anything or be hungry and lose weight. These changes are also the cause of depression.

UNCONTROLLABLE EMOTIONS

Many times one may feel mood swings, i.e., anger, anxiety, crying. There are no changes in the outer environment, but inner emotions are frequently changing. This is also one of the signs of depression.

LOOKING AT DEATH

Depression may also bring death. And these days, this step has become common and mostly attempt by a depressed person. When they feel worthless and everything is over in their life, they look for suicide.

These are some common signs which usually occur in the depression phase. If you are facing these, then consult your doctor. And take proper remedies to cure it.

STEPS TO OVERCOME DEPRESSION

SET GENUINE GOALS

Most of the time, people feel guilty as they set goals that they cannot achieve quickly. So always try to set manageable, realistic, and genuine goals. In case you don’t reach, then you learn lessons from it.

PLAN PLEASANT ACTIVITIES OR EVENTS

Pause for pleasant activities too. Enjoy your favorite movie, book, music, or hobby for at least 30 minutes in a day. And be grateful to the universe for such passion. Try to notice what went good instead of what went wrong. for this, manage a gratitude journal and count your blessings daily.

STAY IN PRESENT

Stop worrying about what had happened in the past and be grateful for pretty now. So live in the present because it exists now. You are no more in your past sp leave it behind. So enjoy what you are having now.

PREFER HEALTHY DIET AND EXERCISE

Moderate exercise for 30 minutes daily can build up your body well. It will remove all toxins such as stress, anxiety, and depression by making your body and mind calm. And also, stick to carbs, proteins, vitamins in your daily diet. It will boost your brain and keep you active and healthy.

FOLLOW REGULAR SLEEP SCHEDULE

One should try to follow a regular sleep schedule by balancing neither more nor less sleep. Take proper sleep for 7 to 8 hours during the night and 15 to 45 minutes during the day. Avoid late night sleeping as it will make you more tired and nervous the next day.

BE GRATEFUL TO PEOPLE WHO LIFT YOU UP

Keep remembering and thanking people who support you and lift you from your depression. Interact with those people periodically. Share your piece of joy and care with them.

The ways mentioned above are confidently helpful to get rid of depression. But the condition is one has to make their mind heal their internal triggers. Keep hope in your heart that you will surely overcome it.
