Promise of Dawn
Just move ahead
Even in the darkness.
Hoping that light will come soon.
Hoping that you’ll find what you need.
The people who think hope is lost
Are the ones who lose everything.
Force yourself to move ahead
With hope in your head.
Be a flower that doesn’t dry in the darkness.
Become a star,
That lights up itself,
When nobody else does.
Don’t be the oyster
That tries to impress others but destroys itself.
Don’t be the cloud that bursts in agony
when its emotions get too heavy.
Be the sunflower
That always follows the light.
If you fall,
You stand up.
If the world pushes you,
You push it back.
Hoping that there’s a cheerful dawn,
After a morose dusk.
Always remember the
Promise of Dawn.
