LIFE: THE ENDLESS PATH

I walk this earth all by myself,
Through the nightfall, where the silence bled.
Adulthood looms like an ill-fated tide,
No map to guide, no place to hide.

The path begins in childhood’s grace,
With innocent laughs and a sweet embrace.
But time moves on, and shadows grew,
Each step revealing the weight we tow.

The air grows sick and the road turns steep,
Promises fade, yet our hopes we keep.
A flicker of stars, a light breeze,
Moments of beauty, spread with ease.

The burdened mounts we choose to dare,
The trials of life, relentless and bare.
To stop is to fall, to cease to exist, to lie
in the small black room what could be life.

Day turns to night, and night to day,
The cycle churns, but we continue to stay.
Through Aching feet and weary eyes,
We carry on beneath the vast skies.

Each step a choice, each breath a fight,
Each little joy, a spark of light.
Life is no treasure, no sparkled throne,
It’s rough terrain and paths unknown.

Yet here we are, alive, aware,
Walking a road, nothing to spare.
And though it stings, or hearts may break,
Each moment lived is all we take.

So walk we must, through dark, through fire,
With fragile hope and faint desire.
Not for perfection, nor endless cheer,
But for the truth: that we are here.
