Earth’s energy would never last, meaning humans need to migrate somewhere else, somewhere habitable like Earth. Venus would be the one to become the 2nd Earth. There is a lot of controversy surrounding an example of Venus becoming the next planet. Scientists have mentioned that Venus is a planet that cannot be a habitable planet that Earth can replace. The reasons are air pressure, water issues, and the atmosphere in Venus is different from Earth. However, these obstacles have solutions to the various problems that don’t let Venus become a habitable planet.

Firstly, the air pressure on Venus is greatly higher than on Earth, and it would immediately crush anything that lands on Venus’s surface. This results in the extremely dense atmosphere of Venus, which is made entirely of Carbon Dioxide. So far, none of the robotic rovers or machines would stand a chance in Venus once it touches the ground. However, it is possible to say that humans could undoubtedly live in artificial structures orbiting in the atmosphere, but that would be difficult. The atmospheric pressure is roughly equal to Earth at a height of around 50 kilometers above Venus’s surface. Therefore, nothing would be destroyed if a space station were constructed there.

Secondly, there is no water or molecular oxygen on Venus, so somehow, these chemicals would need to be transported from Earth to Venus. This means that the transporter needs to travel at least 2 months to reach Venus from Earth. There is no current technology to withstand that amount of time. On the other hand, the fact is that chemical reactions can be used to separate oxygen and produce water from Venus’s atmospheric gasses, even though the planet doesn’t have water or oxygen in those exact forms. The air on Venus contains hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, which can be transformed into oxygen and water through chemical reactions activated by an electric spark. Consequently, the water problems can also be solved with enough science on Earth.

Lastly, due to the thick gas layer in the high atmosphere of Venus, most of the sunlight is blocked, and no sunlight means it will be very cold on the surface of Venus. However, the cloud cover is not nearly as dense as you believe. Of course, you can also gather thermal energy from the sun and radiation from the surface if you build a space station high in the atmosphere. Additionally, because Venus rotates very slowly, you could place the solar panels on its bright side for an extended period of time; it would be like having a good amount of daylight for an energy source. Therefore, the thick gas layer is not a big problem, and the technology of Earth can solve it.

In conclusion, due to the air pressure on Venus, humans can make a space station in the atmosphere. Also, Venus’s lack of molecules could be solved by mixing chemicals and using electrical sparks to the gasses in the atmosphere; however, in order to do that, you would need to bring supplies in the first place Venus, which will take a while, and finally, it is possible for people to get sunlights and use them as energy sources; however, you would need to build an energy absorber in the air, where the structure is fully exposed to sunlight to get plenty amount of the sun. A second Earth is essential because the Earth could disappear in 100 years. Therefore, we need to study Venus more, continue our exploration, and join forces with civilians and governments to make Venus a new settlement in the future.
