“Beauty is pain,” they say. They are not wrong, unfortunately.

About 60% of the population is plagued with this ‘disease’ and while for most it may appear as a blessing, for others, it is a nightmare. As coiled as springs. As bouncy as trampolines. As difficult to tame as horses. Curly hair is no joke.

Whether it is too dry or too tangled, there is always one problem after another. Curly hair is the kind that requires heavy pampering with several hair products including oils, serums, and masks. Growing up in a household with only straight-haired members, my mother herself was unaware of how to handle my hair.

It would not be just me but many helpless young girls and boys benefiting from a product that is designed specifically to maintain curly hair and its several requirements. Any hair product usually comes with only one function but a product that can oil my hair, comb my hair properly, and take extra measures to prevent dandruff or frizz is something I dream of having.

Firstly, the product should have small vials to dispense oil with a comb applicator attached. It will allow the user to easily oil their hair while disentangling it. When applying oil to your hair, a common problem that can occur is the inability of oil to spread throughout your hair but with a comb, it can easily be incorporated into even the deepest trenches of the hair.

Lubricating curly hair comes with its share of advantages. According to Curlsmith, oiling curly hair can aid with moisture sustentation; curly hair faces a serious issue because the curls often prevent oil in the roots from reaching the ends. Furthermore, this action can untangle hair, protect hair from the attacks made by humidity, and give hair more shine and luster (almost making it seem like glints of gold are glistening within).

Secondly, the product could have a tiny bag tied to it with hair rollers. Maintaining defined curls is a tumultuous task so hair rollers would be perfect to ensure that already-curly hair is made into much more distinct curls. Additionally, a wide-toothed comb could be on the other end because it prevents breakage of hair while allowing the user to brush their hair and not let the spirals become indistinguishable.

Hair remains dry despite the amounts of oil being produced so the body is tricked into producing more oil that only results in buildup at the scalp. This causes dandruff. Dandruff is a stubborn enemy that causes complications for both the hair and skin since the bacteria present in it are known to cause acne breakouts. To prevent dandruff, a scalp massager should also be a part of this product.

In conclusion, for all the curly-haired ones suffering out there, barely making it out alive after combing their hair, there has to be a 3 in 1 product with a wide-toothed comb, oil vials, and scalp massager to reduce the risk of dandruff, frizz, and dryness and reduce the extra load being carried on vacations (it has to be extremely portable). Having curly hair may seem exhausting at times but hair so unruly and untamed gives a person a look of wilderness and adventure. This product is for all the wild ones.
