Ajay K Pandey – Biography :
Ajay Pandey is also called Ajay K Pandey, an Indian author. His father calls Ajay as Sonu, a nickname.He was born and brought up in Rihand Nagar, the modest NTPC township near the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. He is a very normal person from Brahmin Family. He completed his schooling from Rihand Nagar, Sonebhadra,UP. He studied electronic engineering at IERT(Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology)Allahabad. Next he did his Post graduate in MBA at IIMM Pune. Currently, Ajay is working in Pune based Company ‘Cognizant’ situated in Pune. His dream is to enter a teaching profession but fate has a different plan. He entered into the IT field.
While studying at IERT, Ajay and Bhavna loved each other and they got married too. Later, Bhavna died because of septicaemia, a multiple function disorder. After the death of his beloved wife Bhavna, Ajay started writing adventures. He never thought that he would become a novelist. But destiny lands him in writing the novel. So the suitable name tag for Ajay is ‘An Accidental Writer’. His first novel You are the Best Wife became a success and took the place of A NATIONAL BESTSELLER. Because of the success of the first novel, he wrote and published it’s sequel novel Her Last Wish. Ajay aspires to start a Charitable trust for old age people and to educate special children. Later Bhavna Charitable Trust was initiated by her parents.
Apart from writing, Ajay’s hobbies are reading novels, traveling and trekking. Mother Teresa is a role model for Ajay. He is a follower of Teresa and he has curiosity to make some contributions to society.

In the middle part, the title of the novel is designed in simple font style and straightforward. In the third part some writings are written in watermark with pen nib. And at last the author name Ajay K Pandey is printed.
Back cover of the book tells about the author’s simple life and what the novel is about. And also said how the author’s life changed after his wife Bhavna left him in half life. The Novel You are the Best Wife has 39 Chapters including Prologue. A page opens up with a Prologue. It tells about the suffering and deteriorating condition of Bhavna in hospital. The Story begins with the normal situation of Ajay waiting to join in college. Then the story moves to the love track of Ajay and Bhavna. Every person knows how the love life was in college and what funny things will happen. All these things the author included in the novel. Both of them struggled to get married. After marriage life went smoothly and happily. Humans have no power to see the future. If we have this power, we can change the most horrible things that are going to happen in future.
Happiness comes to an end when Bhavna suffers from death causing disorder. After the death of Bhavna, Ajay is not stable, her memories revolve around him. Days went on, he spent more time with the kids in orphanages after one emotional incident. It gives him a reason to live further strongly.
At last there is a page of acknowledgement, spelling the words by Bhavna giving gratitude to friends who were helped in critical times. She gave her sincere love towards childhood friends and college friends. She mentioned names who were donated platelets for her treatment. Personal view as a reader :
As a reader, I really felt very emotional while reading the book, especially the last part. At one point my eyes were fully filled with tears. Author gave a life to Bhavna by writing this lovely book. He wrote all the things which flashed in mind when remembering old memories with the exact emotion. People who are new to reading books or a beginner reader shall choose this book. Because the way he has written is so simple to read. He has written his Whole life in the form of a book. Some moments touched my heart, the most emotional scene is:
When Bhavna is admitted in hospital, Mr.Nanhu, who was Bhavna’s elder sister’s son came to see Bhavna and also brought ‘Mentos Candy’ for her. Nanhu does not fully know what was happening to her. Then Ajay gets that Mentos Candy and puts it in the car. That time Bhavna was not well. Later Bhavna left. After six months, on the road, On his right side he saw two kids sitting in a bicycle with his father. He waved his hand and smiled at them, Older kid smiled but the younger kid did not. But Ajay wants to see the smile of the Younger kid too. So he searched for things to make the kid smile. While searching, his hand picked ‘Mentos Candy’ and he gave it to her. The Younger kid smiled. This incident gives Ajay a valid reason to live in life. After six months of pain and tears he gets a kick of motivation from those kids.
Here I felt that Bhavna has appeared in kid descent to motivate Ajay, and also to direct him in a better way. Author mentioned that these two kids were ‘motivational gurus’ for him. Ajay said “I’ve found it, Bhavna” after seeing those kids.
