Being in science teaches you many things, and very often practice of noting and
writing down things with intricate details turn scientists into good writers.
Scientific research always requires dedication and is a time-consuming process.
Moreover, it requires immense amount of patience and persistence and ability to
deal with stress and anxiety.

It has also been seen that many scientists after being in the field of research feel
saturated with their careers and tend to shift their attention towards writing. It is
in this latter part of their professional life, many of them discover their true
passion towards writing and take up jobs associated with different journals and
magazines. Besides working as a scientific writer, they may even become be
science editors or science journalist in newspaper agencies. A science writer is
the one who basically writes for scientific journals, or newspapers in science
discoveries column. Additionally, they are also employed to write for the science
magazines in many reputed research institutes. Other jobs associated with this
domain of work include working as a science communicator in the radio
broadcasting, or as science reporter in television channels. As both the career
prospects have the intention to convey the science news to lay man in a better
way it requires good skills in writing, editing and ability to convey the complex
scientific information in the lay man language. It therefore requires a
tremendous amount of understanding of subject Through this profession people
could be made aware of scientific discoveries and made aware about disease and
pandemics.
