there is nothing to calm the excitable neurons. Exercise is an effective way to get
the GABA in the brain to the right level. Any activity that keeps your heart going
counts as exercise. If vigorous exercise and you are still getting to know each other,
nonaerobic exercise like yoga can also help ease anxiety. The second thing that is
required to ease anxiety is to breathe.
Anxiety can feel like such a bully at times, it can be hard to believe that something
as simple and as normal as breathing can out muscle-it-but it can. Breathing is the
switch that will activate the relaxation reaction and start to put the symptoms of
anxiety back to small enough. Once you start doing slow deep breathing, your
body will take over and do the rest. In the thick of hysteria, the brain is just too
busy with other things to recollect trying doing strong deep breathing To make
strong deep breathing easier for the brain to access, practice it a couple of times a
day when you’re calm, and finally, make sure you love yourself a little more.
At adolescence, you are at a point where the whole world unfolds. Anxiety will
shift its focus too often to the negative, but the things about us that we would like
to change often have very wonderful strengths built into them. Anxiety is
something that happens, not something you are.
