Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering is a branch of engineering that relates the principles of
physics, engineering and materials science for the evaluation, design, assembling,
manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. Countries including
Pakistan, Turkey, Ireland, Philippines, UK, USA, India, Germany, and Australia
offer degree courses like Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Bachelor in
Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in applied technology (emphasis in
Mechanical Engineering). Undergraduates in mechanical engineering generally
acquire knowledge of Mathematics, Physics Science and Life Science along with
design engineering. Additionally, the field involves the study of core concepts
like thermodynamics, mechanics, material sciences, kinematics, electricity and
structure analysis.
