Here, we have to have dedication to our work. A professor must have an
omnipotent personality. Since the old ages, professors seem to have the ability to
help take the country forward. One can observe that the old ages always had
professors selflessly running a Gurukul or an ashram (Vedic schools), where they
gave the best education to the students. As times changed, our country turned its
head towards modern education. Similarly, the professor also started
encompassing more roles in his personality, so that the children stay true to their
passion, become great writers, scientists, lawyers, athletes, businessmen,
protectors, farmers, politicians, doctors, teachers, astronauts, inventors and what
not.
It will not be an exaggeration to say that education is the only thing that decides
the country’s future. Whatever you are learning – or have learned – in school will
be the ultimate answer for the question of ‘Will we be able to face the problems
thrown on us by the future together as a country?’. Here, the professor’s
capabilities cannot be overlooked at all. That’s exactly why I am keen on
adopting this as my profession. Quite literally, a professor is somewhat equal to a
potter, who gives shape to his student’s thoughts and personality according to
their needs. Even with all the examples, a professor’s greatness is just
indescribable; it is only the professor who looks at his students’ achievements
and gets happier for them, more than them. The professor’s stream or field of
teaching doesn’t matter, as every subject holds equal importance; instead, they
have to be well verse with all the subjects of their domain whether they teach it
or not.
