But sometimes when there are big problems in multiplication or subtraction, we
need a paper or calculator to solve. To solve in mind you need a lot of
concentration. You can feel the total concentration when a blank page appears
in your mind. For example let’s add the two numbers 97 and 98 in mind by:
• Adding 8 and 7 first. So 8+7=15.
• Next we should keep 5 in the right and 1 in mind.
• Next, we should add 9 to 9. So 9+9=18
• Next we should join 2 to 18. And hence, we get 182 which is 97+98.
So, this is how I solve small questions in my mind within no seconds.
Next, while solving in the paper never, just mention the important steps. And
the main point that everyone forgets to write in the exam is to write the reason
why they have written the step. These reasons also act as scoring points and
contain marks.
Next, when there is a point to solve an equation, always verify your answer by
placing the value obtained in the question for which you are working rather
than solving the whole problem. This saves you time.
Another time-consuming step, while dividing two numbers write the tables of
the divider aside till 10. And while writing the tables just follow the trick:
